The beautiful gardens of our Lake Atitlan hotel live up to the name of the Posada.. Bosque Encantado, which means
"enchanted forest".
The garden provides a relaxing atmosphere in which to experience nature with many plants that
come from the surrounding mountains.. there are moments when the coffee trees are in full bloom, or ready to harvest,
with miniature banana plants, palms, flowers and so much more to enjoy.
Our campfire circle is located in the midst
of a forest of coffee, avocado, and citrus trees, with the cliffs of Cerro Cujil (cerro means hill) soaring above.
A great variety of birds visit our forest, including many cold weather visitors who come south to escape the cold
months in the north. The cliffs have been home to owls, hawks, and other feathered friends. Visitors to San Marcos La Laguna especially enjoy the many paths that run through this amazing garden village.
